Vintage Westmoreland White milk Glass Butter Dish with Cover

These Vintage White milk glass covered butter dish in the Paneled Grape pattern, manufactured by the Westmoreland Glass Company and Imperial Glass. Milk glass, known for its opaque white appearance. The "Paneled Grape"
or "Vintage Grape" design features ornate clusters of grapes and leaves on both the lid and the base.
The design was very popular and produced by several companies, with Westmoreland Glass Company producing it in milk glass from the late 1940s until it closed in 1985.
These dishes
hold a standard stick of butter and measure around 7 to 7.5 inches in length.
The manufacturer's mark, such as the Westmoreland logo (a 'W' over 'G'), is often found on the inside of the lid or on the base.
