These are beautiful porcelain octagonal boxes with lids. Both have delicate hand painted murals of seascape's featuring Chinese boats and homes along the shore. Complete with wooded backdrops and blue floral blossoms. On the sides there's geometric prints that line up the lid to the box. Each do have a different marking on the bottom. Which typically depict the year and place that the china was made. One has concentric circles surrounding Chinese symbols which translated to "1999 Taisei Yong". With the other box, I was able to translate "Guangxu Nia'n Zhi'".
These are amazing trinket boxes with unique hand painted scenery. As you can see, they're in wonderful condition! They are 2.5"wide and 1.5" tall
