Stratton vintage scalloped marbled top compact

Stratton vintage compact perhaps 1960s or 70s. It has a really pretty marble/onyx looking top with brown cream almost pink and black colours. Size in photo, hinge and clasps all good. Mirror in nice condition. A bit of tarnish on the silver base inside and some rubbing on the stratton name on the gold base. Has the patent number 764125 inside,patent was applied for by Stratton in 1955 and granted in 1956 and refers to an inner retainer on a “Convertible” compact to hold a tray of solid powder securely. This type of Stratton does not have an inner lid covering the powder but has a hinged metal ring that secures either a sifter for use with loose powder or a tray of solid powder.
