This is a used Hitachi 5-inch mono open reel tape recorder that has been serviced and tested.

Tape speed is selectable in two stages: 9.5/4.8 cm/sec. The speed can be changed by replacing the metal cylinder of the capstan roller.

Power supply is AC100V or 6 x size AA batteries or AC cord. 50/60Hz compatible.

Equipped with recording level meter and counter.
