Beautiful antique Noritake hand-painted sugar sifter (muffineer), featuring a detailed Orientalist desert scene with camel rider, palm trees and distant mountains. The body is finely decorated in warm yellow tones with a deep cobalt blue band at the top, richly embellished with gilt floral detailing. Finished with its original pierced EPNS metal lid, designed to sprinkle sugar evenly.
