The idea for this cutlery came to Carl Pott while sitting under a chestnut tree and looking at a falling leaf. The organic shape became the model for the spoon, from which the other pieces of cutlery are derived. The distinctive, double-edged knife blade has less to do with nature and more with use. The additional serrated edge on the back is ideal for a strong cut. The model became world famous as cutlery for the 1972 Olympics in Munich.
