The 6 x 60 inch belt and 12 inch diameter disc are used to sand, deburr, bevel and grind large workpieces of wood, plastic and metal. Huge 3 HP, 16 amp (230v) motor has 2 speeds: disc 1,750 / 3,500 rpm and belt 3,200 / 6,400 fpm. Made for heavy duty use.The 6 x 60 belt housing can be pivoted from vertical to horizontal for sanding large, straight workpieces. The belt assembly includes a tilting cast iron table the tilts down 45 degrees and up 20 degrees, miter gauge slot and 4 in dust collection chute.The 12 in diameter disc can be used to sand or bevel surfaces with the use of a cast iron table that tilts down 45 degrees and up 20 degrees, miter gauge slot and 4 in dust collection chute. The high speed setting is suitable for quick stock removal while the low speed setting is used for general purpose sanding and finishing.The two collections chutes accept the standard 4 in dust collection hose for quick removal of dust. The adjustable miter gauge can be used on both the belt and disc tables for guiding the workpiece at a desired angle while sanding.
